Before

The problem

Evidence lives in years of messages. Cases are won on it.

Separation produces thousands of texts, emails and calendar entries. The truth of what was said and done is in there, but nobody can find it, and a case that rests on memory rests on "your word against theirs."

After

What we do

A brand that is serious without being cold.

The name does a lot of work: it signals that the product is on your side without being combative. The visual identity, positioning and interface language were designed for two very different users at once, a person under stress and a professional under time pressure, and tested against both. The product surfaces evidence timestamped, attributed and anchored to its source.

Thank you. Come again.

Why it is on this page

Positioning under pressure.

Legal technology sells on trust. Every word on the site, from the first-visit question ("I’m going through a separation" or "I’m a family lawyer") to the privacy promise, is positioning work. It is the same discipline we bring to a tourism board or a brewery, applied where the stakes are personal.

Let’s talk

Have a similar situation?

Describe the situation in a few lines and we’ll reply with a frank read on what to do first. Or skip the form and book thirty minutes. No deck, no pressure.

What happens next. A senior strategist reads every inquiry and replies personally, usually within two business days. The first conversation covers your situation, what you’ve tried, and whether we’re the right fit. If we aren’t, we’ll say so and point you somewhere better.

We reply from hello@brandbutter.ca and never share your details. Privacy
